This year we decided to spend Christmas and New years eve in Hamburg were my grandma lives. People here dive so deep in the holiday spirit! Every little corner is decorated with colorful lamps, glittery stars and huge christmass trees. Even the tree in the middle of the lake is wraped in christmas lights ☆ ☆ ☆
On new years eve we chilled at home and went to see the fireworks on midnight 🎆 Afterwards we exchanged some presents (i think it is a greek tradition to open presents on new year and not on the 25th of december). Our husky dog didnt like the fireworks as much as we did and got a bit crazy when he heard the noise but we managed to calm him down after a while.
And even if dont really like new year resolutions because i think that everyone should try everyday to get the best out of himself and not wait until new year, a new month or monday to start improving i find its good start for today to set some goals :
- Enjoy the small things in life and appreciate everything that i have
- Spend more quality time with friends and family
- Getting better at my hobbies (sports, art, music)
- Focus more on my studies
Maybe i’ll try to write them down or look at them every once in a while to get reminded!
